Where is My Song

Synopsis
A woman wakes with no memory of who she is or how she came to be held captive. Her only way out is a song she can’t quite remember. Piece by piece, through fragments of sound and sensation, she pulls the lost lyrics back into focus, and with each word she comes closer to the truth about her past and her freedom. Where’s My Song is a short film about how memory, music, and identity are bound together, and about the power of art to bring us back to ourselves.

Where’s My Song is John Carlo Lockmer’s first screenplay, and it’s also the first time he wrote original songs. The lyrics at the heart of the film are his own. The film went on to earn more than 12 nominations, including Best Film.
